How to connect laptop to sharp aquos tv hdmi

There is no way you can change that if your TV is anything like my old Sharp Aquos. What you need to do is go to the nVidia control panel, set your screen resolution to 1280x720 ( 720p ) and then look for an option called TV overscan ( or something like that ).
I had the same problem with QIP 7100 and Sharp Aquos lc37d64u when using the HDMI. I was told by the FIOS tech team that the HDMI software on the STB box has some bug which interferes with the signal between the TV so it causes the green screen to appear.
